Why iCadence doesn't stop at reminders
There are plenty of break reminder apps. Most of them do one thing: when the time comes, pop up a notification.
Then you dismiss it and keep sitting.
The reminder is only the beginning
We watched our own behavior and that of people around us: the reminder itself changes almost nothing. The hard part is the three seconds after it — the moment you choose to stand up, or not.
iCadence is designed around those three seconds. It doesn’t just tell you it’s time for a break; it makes finishing a break a small, definite ritual with a clear beginning and end.
Cadence, not alarms
The name iCadence comes from “cadence” — rhythm. We believe a healthy way of working isn’t about being interrupted by alarms, but about a natural alternation: work, move, rest, repeat.
The tool should step back and let the rhythm happen on its own.
